I started watching Vampire Diaries when it aired in the UK earlier this year and despite my initial reservations, I have to admit I'm hooked! Damon is more than welcome to bite me anytime! Anyway, this is my little homage to one of my favourite blood suckers, oh and Elena too!
About the Picture
I starting drawing this about a week ago and it's been pretty straight forward for most of it; apart from Damon that is! I found it SO difficult to get his likeness right. I'm reasonably happy with what I've achieved but it took some getting there!
The scan hasn't come out as great as I'd like. I might add some more pencil to the bottom of the picture to darken it up some more so you can see as much of my messy shading when I scan it.

Time taken: 1 week; 8-10hours approx
Tools used: 2B & 6B pencil, kneadable eraser, cotton buds
